The heavens declare the glory of God: the skies proclaim the work of his hands.  Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.  There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.  Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. Psalms 19:1-4.

Have you ever gazed into the night sky, and wondered about what you see and what is beyond what you see?  The enormity of the universe is hard to fathom, hard to comprehend, and we see only the smallest fraction of it.  Even so, we see enough to recognize the workmanship of a creator and appreciate his awesome power and dominion.

Being an engineer, I always marvel at the brilliance of design and construction, and wonder about the creative genius behind it.  That is why it is easy for me to look into the sky and believe.  But you don’t have to look just to the sky to believe.  Evidence is all around, and in abundance.  There is no where we can go and not be confronted with the display of God’s creation.  Seeing is believing, and yet our senses and human ability to reason stop short of fully comprehending God’s power and love for us, the culmination of his creation.  Where our human abilities stop is where faith begins.

If you’ve never moved beyond the wonder of creation, and taken a step in faith to seek God and understand what he has done for us through Jesus Christ, the time is now.  He has made the call, it’s time to answer.

……. since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.  For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.  Romans 1:19-20

See you at the finish line.
